Basic troubleshooting and technical info
Most minor issues with your FOXTEL set top box can be solved in moments.
So to save time, first follow these few handy tips.
With your Set Top Box:
| Check that the power lead from the FOXTEL Box is connected to the power point and turned on. | |
| Check the FOXTEL Box standby button is green. If not, press the Standby button. | |
| Check your television is on your FOXTEL channel. If it is, make sure you have pressed the FOXTEL button on the FOXTEL remote. | |
| Check the Smartcard is inserted correctly – the gold chip is facing down and the arrow on the top of the Smartcard is facing the FOXTEL Box. | |
| Check the FOXTEL cable from the wall plate to the FOXTEL Box is tightly secured. | |
| Check the FOXTEL leads from the FOXTEL Box to the TV are connected. | |
| Perform a re-boot of the FOXTEL Box. Switch the FOXTEL Box off at the power point. After 30 seconds, turn the power on and press the FOXTEL button on the FOXTEL remote to restore pictures. |
